TV and Roku: Check Connection between the TV and Roku. The HDMI cable must be connected properly at both the ends. You must check the connections thoroughly.
Roku remote: In case you find that the Roku remote is not working properly, change the batteries at once. After you have changed the batteries, check for any obstruction between the device and the Roku remote. If available, then remove it from the place. A line of sight communication is required for proper functioning of remote from a distance.
Roku device: To download the latest software update on Roku, click on ‘Menu’ followed by ‘Settings’ then on ‘System’ update. Your device will start fetching updated files from the servers.

You must ensure that you are having a strong internet connection at your place. Without the internet, Roku will not be able to fetch content from the server. As a result, the screen will keep on displaying ‘Freezing error’. If possible, try using Ethernet cable to connect the device to the network.
If you are having a problem with the internet service or with the Wi-Fi password, then contact university help desk. They will help you in fixing the problem. If the username and password provided to you by the university are not working, then contact IT branch in your university.
They may ask you to reset your username and password for Roku login account.
From Roku device, go to ‘Settings’ Click on ‘New connection’ to manually add a new network.
